HAPPENINGS

We had a fantastic turnout of 60 players today.

Please Check the Pennant list which is now up on the board. Remember it is an honour to be selected to represent your club. For those that have not been selected please don’t get too disappointed because we need plenty of reserves during pennant season and you may still get a game.

Twilight bowls is now running every Thursday evening with a 6pm start. Play finishes around 7.30 pm and finger food is provided afterward. Why not give it a go?

I would like to remind all players to continually look at the board and keep up to date. Particularly if you are playing championship games as times and dates can change.

Bowls N.S.W has changed the district triples format to two bowls and 21 ends. Club triples will remain the same.

Hastings vs Macleay will be played this week at Stuarts Point Workers Recreation & Bowls Club. We wish our team the best of luck.

Welfare: It was great to see Nola Sykes out and about she is still undergoing treatment. We would like to thank Julie, who looks after our after-game drinks. Sadly, she has hurt herself and will not be returning to work. To these and anyone else who may be feeling unwell we wish you all a fast recovery.
