Leonie Murphy and Dean Gemmell are the first team into the final of the mixed pairs following their win over Wendy and Barrie Isaac in their semi-final Leonie and Dean played consistent bowls throughout the match to secure their place in the final.
Wednesday social and winning the afternoon was Daryle
James, Paul Hancox and John Gemmell the runner up prize went to Jimmy Race,
Peter Richards and Dave Napper. Vouchers went to Terry Miles, Doug Long, Chicka
Thompson and John Brown.
Friday jackpot triples was a great success with the Lorn
Park boys taking home most of the spoils the jackpot stayed in the bank and
that was all they left the rest they put in the kitty. The rink winners were D
Neilson, M Fisher and W Lawrence from Lorn Park, runners up Binga, John And
Allan from Lorn Park. Vouchers went to John Hilton local then Steve Gilchrist,
G Wells, M Watson, S Jackson and G Smith all from Lorn Park we hope that the
travelers had a great time with us at Kew and we may see them on their home
turf in the not too distant future.
Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples are the bowls
