HAPPENINGS
 

Congratulations to all the team members who turned out on this glorious Port Macquarie morning and thank you to our selectors for their time, dedication and hard work.

Twilight bowls is now running every Thursday evening with a 6pm start. It is a jack attack triples format and is lot of fun. The Sheet is on the board. Call Phil in the bowls office for further information.

Nominations for district events and seniors are still open and will close on 16 November.

Melbourne Cup day is coming up quickly. It should start around 10am. Nibbles will be provided, you will have to buy your own lunch. Check the sheet.

Minor Pairs entries have been drawn check the board for details.

Anyone who has an idea for an act for the Xmas party should see Judy Brady.

We are looking for someone to skip a Kempsey Macleay team on encouragement day, contact the committee if you are interested. Encouragement day is typically a lot of fun so try not to miss out.

Welfare: Sadly, our long serving patron Marie Bignell has passed away this week. Her funeral will be held on Monday 6 November at St Agnes main church in town at 10.30 am. Could all those attending please wear their full bowls uniform.

To anyone who may be feeling unwell we wish you a fast recovery.
