Jean Donald and Bill O’Donnell won a fantastic mixed pairs final against Leonie Murphy and Dean Gemmell on Sunday afternoon the small crowd on hand to watch the game were kept on the edge of their seats the whole game with some of the best bowls you would ever want to see. With the scores locked up on the 20th end the match could have gone either way but it was Jean and Bill who got the shots to win a great game. Congratulations Jean and Bill, Leonie and Dean it’s a shame there could only be one winner.
Wednesday social and it was money day for the visitors in the winning team we had visitor Jenny How, Paul Hancox and Pat O’Connor, in the runner side we had visitor Hugh How, Chicka Thompson and soon to be leaving us Eddie McPhee. Vouchers went to Reggie Robb, Barrie Isaac, Eddie McPhee and Chicka Thompson.
Friday Jackpot triples and going home with big smiles on their faces was Howard Burrows, John Gemmell and Bill O’Donnell after winning the jackpot worth $432 well done lads. Voucher winners Mark Hammond, Eddie McPhee, Peter Laing, Chicka Thompson and Ian Hilton.

Wednesday social and the Classic triples on Saturday and Sunday are the bowls this week all the best to all teams on the weekend.
