Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

In the mixed pairs semi finals Greg Brims will play Mark Parry and Phil Baker will play Craig Ainsworth.

Entries are now being taken for the blue ribbon event, the 2017 men’s over 70’s. Entries close 8/11, first round 11/11.

Entries for the mixed fours close 13/11.

The City  V  Country was held at Cabramatta and in the under 25’s Country defeated City 2 tests to one. In the first test Callum won his singles 25-12. And Jack Lewis in the triples won 29 – 14.. In the second test Jack lost his singles 13 – 25 and Callum lost pairs 15 – 20.

In the deciding test Jack in the pairs won 21 – 16 and Callum in the triples went down 12 – 22.
Congratulations to both.

In the club challenge state finals to be held at Warilla 2/3 December, the men’s gold have drawn in the section to play Raymond Terrace, Wallacia and Dubbo Railway. The mixed gold are drawn to play Corrimal and The Hills

Pennants 2018 – It has been confirmed start date will be 28th April. The format ( 6-8-10 week) is yet to be confirmed. We have to give an indication to zone 14 by 15th January 2018 of our player list. Please complete the form at the bowls kiosk and place in the box provided. We still need more names please.

 In the NSW state triples championships  Bryce Stewart – Callum Murray and Jack Lewis, were runners up to Belrose. A great effort.

Presentation Day is set for 16th December. Further details as we get closer to the time.

The PCMBC bowls calendar for November/December is on the notice board.

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Wiggly Tail Butchery. Also club ltd badge draw at 7 and 8 pm currently stands at $5000
