Kew Men’s Bowls News.

Two full greens created a colorful sight at the Classic triples played on Saturday and Sunday the weather was kind and the quality of the bowls was exceptional. President Barrie would like to thank everyone who participated in the tournament especially the people behind the scenes Kim and Doreen on the computer with the scores, the ladies who help with the morning teas and lunches, the bar staff and the staff in the kitchen who prepare thegreat meals thank you all very much.

The winners and in 1st place Gary Ruprecht, Bill O’Donnell and Barrie Isaac, 2nd Andy Lloyd, Les Allport and Graham Conan, 3rd Ian Hilton, Mick Ashford and Eddie McPhee, 4th Glen Williams, Gary Martin and Bill Wiltshire and 5th Chris Connors, Bobby Dykes and Neil McCuddan. Round winners 1 Shane Jackson, 2 John O’Neill, 3Dave Carney, 4 Rod Piper and Chris Ballam and 5 Paul Hancox.

Wednesday social and taking home the winnings Daryle James, Ian Poole and Terry Stringer, runners up were Adrian Hilton, Doug Long and Phil Collins. Vouchers went to Terry Stringer, Paul Hancox, Chicka Thompson and Phil Collins.
If you haven’t put your name on the pennant list and you are intending to play pennants please do so as numbers are required for the grades the club will enter.

Don’t forget to put yourself and partner on the list for the Presentation Day Christmas Party on Saturday the 9th of December starting at 4pm.
Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
