Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

Bowls  Facebook page has been updated. We now have bowls streamed “live” from Port City. Listen to Phil “the Ray Warren of bowls” Baker call the shots

 A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

A service to celebrate the life of Paul Webster will be held at the crematorium, Lake Innes on Friday 2nd November. Details of  time etc are yet to be notified, and will be posted on the notice board when available.

For those interested in the men’s zone 14 membership numbers by club as at October 2018, full details can be found on Brian Smith’s “Latest Bowls News” blog.

There are a number of vacancies on the zone 14 management committee. For those who might want to move into the administration side of bowls, check out the zone 14 web site.

Corporate jack attack new season runs Oct 26 to Nov 23. Entry  $75 per team will be donated to the Hastings cancer trust in association with Octobra.

Entries are open for the 2018 men’s 60 and over pairs and close 6th November. First round Saturday 10th November. Sheet is on the board.

Pennants 2019, doesn’t it come round quickly !!! Nomination forms are at the bowls counter. Please complete this to assist the selectors. I believe lots more names are required

 Melbourne Cup , Tuesday 6th November- Mixed triples 10 am to 12.30, followed by nibbles etc. Sheet is on the board.

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5 pm with the draw at 7 pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Coppy’s Butchers Block.
