LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB
WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 17TH JUNE
With a win today, Geoff
Worley, Glenn Tiley, Gary Knox and Ron Allen booked a place in the final of the
Club Fours Championship, defeating Steve Webster, Roger Hall, Dennis Hamilton
and Warren Dark. The other finalists will be decided between the team of Des
Hancox, Gavin Law, Ron Thompson and Steve Grimshaw and the team of Rob Eldridge,
Keith Woods, Dean Noble and Richard Springett this week. On Monday the winning rink prize was collected by Maritha Reynolds, John White and Helene White. Lucky losers were Arthur Fletcher, Paul McNamara and Bev Ascot-Evans.
Thursdays’ winners were
Glenn Tiley, Phil Smith and Charles Duthie. Runners-up were Graham Conen, Mal
Isaac and Bob Ruming. Lucky to lose were Brian Slogget, Paddy Matthews and Rob
Edwards.
Steve Webster and Roger
Hall had a win on Saturday; Ken Pritchard and Jim McGill didn’t.
