Pennant Play at Westport


Round 7 of the Men's Pennant in Zone 14 was played this afternoon, Saturday 23rd June, 2018 under clear skies and cool temperatures. The final rounds of sectional play will continue now after the break due to the Australian Open.

Update Friday 22 June - "Following two weeks of outstanding bowls action, the 2018 Australian Open has come to a close for another year on the Gold Coast.

Canadian and local favourite Ryan Bester secured an elusive Men's Singles crown and $10,000 prize purse in front of a boisterous crowd at the Broadbeach Bowls Club, defeating a gallant Sean Baker 21-18."

Jax Tyres Grade 6 & 7 Triples - Final Results


Day 3 of the Jax Tyres $7,800 Grade 6 & 7 Men's Triples was completed today at Port City.
 
The winners were Terry Orriss, Gavin Kennedy & Chris Connors (Kempsey Macleay RSL) who took out the title convincingly with 8 wins, a margin of 115 and winning 81 ends.

Jax Tyres Grade 6 & 7 Triples - Day 2


Day 2 of the Jax Tyres $7,800 Grade 6 & 7 Men's Triples was completed today at Port City. The weather was excellent again today with clear skies and little wind.

Three teams have won their first 6 games and are in a strong position for the winners prize with 2 games to go tomorrow, Sunday 17th June.

The popular Jax Tyres $7,800 Grade 6 & 7 Men's Triples commenced today at Port City. The weather was kind to an excellent turnout of bowlers with sunny winter day.

Play over the 3 days consists of 8 games with the winners decided on wins, margins and ends.
