LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB
WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 4TH FEBRUARY
David Pateman and
Graham Denton are through to round 4 of the Major Pairs Championship after
defeating John Kennett and Barry Lawson.
On Monday the winning
rink went to the team of Gary Keness, Mike Storrier and Reg Penney and the
lucky losers were Arthur Fletcher, Paul McNamara and Bill Metcalfe.
Geoff Worley, Keith
Woods, Hubert Hopitz and Robert Seer were winners on Thursday; runners-up were
Ron Freeman, David Jourdant, Neville Wolrige and Ivan Bozanic. Happy losers
were Tom Reeves, Phil Innes, Laurie Bayliss and George Barnes.
On Saturday, Wauchope
pennant players had a fun trial game against Lake Cathie, a warm up for the
pennant season. On the social side Gordon Gray and Graham Fairburn were rink
winners and lucky to lose were Bob Fischer and Warren White.
