Father and Son combination John and Dean Gemmell are the new major pairs champions for 2018 but they did not get there without a huge struggle against Paul Hancox and Pat O’Connor the lead kept changing right up to the last end were the one shot needed to win went to John and Dean. Congratulations go to John, Dean, Paul and Pat for one heck of game.
Monday monthly pairs are on March the 5th and to keep this day ongoing we need the support of clubs in our area so if you want a good day on the greens get yourself a partner and have a go at the guaranteed money on offer $300 1st , $200 2nd, $100 3rd and $50 each 4th and 5th.
The draw is on the board for the major singles and the first game was played with Wayne Thrussell defeating Dave Napper. It was Wayne’s day as he also picked up the rink win for Wednesday, the runner up prize went to Rod Sutton, Cliff Kerr and Rocky Davis. Voucher winners were John Hilton, Pat O’Connor, Steve Hall, Tony Austin and Stuart Rogan.
Friday’s jackpot is still in the bank and is worth $404 on Friday the 9th of March get a team together and have a crack at the jackpot. Rink winners were Reggie Robb, Trevor Robb and Dean Gemmell, the runner up prize went to Greg Arndell, Brian “Perko” Perkins and Mark Hammond. Voucher winners Ray Allan, Bill O’Donnell, John Hilton and Max Blair.
