The roof was brought down with a cheer as I Lennox & R Apps chose the number to prosperity. It is on again next Thursday and will be about $100 with only 20 numbers.
Mayoral Charity Day held to-day was a great success with a lot of unusual bowls attire. Our own Charlie looked great in his outfit, not sure what you would call it but it was in the spirit of the day, good on you Charlie. The major prizes went to 1st- Port Macquarie Golf 2, 2nd to Port City Travel 2, 3rd to The Salvos and the last prize with the worst score, Brett Halls Team.
Friday P.M. $15 :- D Pascoe, J Browne & R Carkeek. $7 :- G Purnell & B Dugdale
The jackpot of $600 was again elusive for D Ramsay & R Apps but is on again next week with $600 & 6 numbers to choose from, Someone has got to win it.
Saturday PM :- The Pennant results were pleasing with most games played in spite of the inclement weather.
Sunday PM :- We had 70 mixed bowlers enjoying the company of their fellow bowlers and weather with the raffle winners being :-,Z Akmens, J Russell & J Munson.

For all the up and coming bowlers, there is free coaching available to everyone (12 year olds welcome). Just turn up to the bowls office Saturday mornings at 10:00 am .
