2018 Zone 14 state championships finals will be played at SWR on week-end of 21/22 April. Port City are represented in the triples with Callum Murray-Phil Baker and Craig Donaldson playing C. Willis – H. Kirkland – K. Price (PB), and in the open singles, Callum Murray plays R. Southam (PB).

Rain played havoc with social and championship bowls this week. The semi-final and the final of the singles will have to be re scheduled as will rounds 1 & 2 of the major pairs. A real headache for Phil.

Easter mixed carnival March 31st – April 2nd. Entry forms are at the kiosk. Saturday ladies triples ($750 prize money, Sunday mixed triples ($1000 prize money) and Monday men’s pairs, also $1000 in prize money. There is still time to enter.

Pennant trials are set down for Saturday 7th April. Sheets are on the board, please tick your names if you are available.

Veterans Day – the annual Veterans day will be held Thursday 19th April. Bowls from 9.30 to 12.30 , followed by lunch. There is a sheet on the board.

A pennant unavailability sheet is on the board. Please let the selectors know which dates you are not available.

Marine Rescue Port Macquarie / Sailability – The weather gods were kind, and I believe around 150 bowlers participated. It sounds like a huge success.
