The major singles is well underway with more games completed 2017 winner Barrie Isaac went down in a tough match against big Kev Wholohan, Bill O’Donnell def Warren Barnes and Mark Hammond def Jeff Nichols, Ian Hilton def Ian Poole, Ray Allan def Peter Griffith, Kevin Wholohan def Gary Martin, Terry Miles def Dave Herman, Brian Charters def Reggie Robb, Bill O’Donnell def Frank Raczka and Trevor Robb def Chicka Thompson.
Saturday the 10th there will be pennant trials the ones and fours at Lake Cathie and the six’s and sevens at home the new start time for pennants will be 12.30 roll up 12.10.
Wednesday social and getting the loot to help with the light bill was Oscar Garland, Howard Burrows and John Gemmell, the runner up prize went to Leslie Faulstone, Stuart Rogan and Pat O’Connor. Voucher winners were John I can’t win anything Gemmell, Jeff Nichols, Bill O’Donnell and Des Hancox.
The Goose is going to sack the new bowls so it looks like the pink panther will once more grace the greens with his lovely pink bowls.
Saturday cashpot triples winners were Ray Allan, Ian McLaren and Ron Hale, 2nd Jimmy Race, Ian Hilton and Adrian Hilton and 3rd John Jarvis, George Ganic and Bill Bailey. Vouchers went to John Gemmell, Terry Miles, Chicka Thompson and Bill Bailey.
Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
