Major Singles Championship is well underway now with the women’s pennant season finishing and even though we only won one flag in the Under 5’s we had a good season.
Results for the first round of the Major Singles played on the 13th March are as...
M Waite defeating V Wilson, A Wilson defeating H Durrant, M Walz defeating G Potts, W Byers defeating J Parr, S Malzard defeating R Downes, L Thompson defeating P Kelly, L Watson defeating R Holmes, M Dewson defeating K Deas, A Butlin defeating P Cahill and J Blackler defeating L Moore.
Championship results for games played on the 16TH March saw M Peasnell defeat J Blackler, B Owens defeated M Waite, A Wilson defeated M Walz, S Stokmanis defeated W Byers, L Thompson defeated S Malzard, M Dewson defeated L Watson and J Sloggett defeated D Fischer.
Social Bowls for the 13th March saw the lucky rink winners of M Waite and R Anstee. The runners up were R Holmes and J Howard.
Social Bowls for the 16th March saw the lucky rink winners of M Dewson and S Stokmanis. The runners up for the day were N Castles, H Millard, B Roberson and K Deas.
