Saturday afternoon saw the first trial game for 2018 the two teams that went to Lake Cathie had a great time playing on the grass it was a great hit out against quality opposition a big thank you to Gary and his lads for afternoon. The 6s and 7s entertained the Lake Cathie teams at home and a very good afternoon of bowls was had by all thanks Lake Cathie we look forward to catching up again.
Most of the second round of the major singles has been played with Ian Hilton defeating Leslie Faulstone and Gary Ruprecht def Rod Sutton, Mark Hammond def Paul Cini and Charles Doyle def Adrian Hilton.

Friday jackpot triples and Mark the treasure has a smile on his face he did not win the jackpot but he gets to keep the money in the bank. Rink winners were Bob man of the match Sims, Ian Poole and Phil Collins, the runner up money went to John Hilton, Mick Ashford and Frosty. Voucher winners were Mick Stuttard, Wayne Thrussell, Barrie Isaac and Bob Sims.
Wednesday social Howard Burrows, Phil Collins and Rocky Davis were the winners, the runner up prize went to Peter Richards and Ray Elliott. Voucher went to Adrian Hilton, Tony Austin, John Gemmell and Barrie Isaac.

Monday monthly was a shy on teams this week but the management said let’s play and the winning team of Les Alport and Graham Conen took 1st place, 2nd Howard Burrows and Barrie Isaac, 3rd Warren Barnes and Ray Allan, 4th Bill O’Donnell and Kevin Wholohan and 5th Bob Sims and Bindi Notara. The free entry next month went to Jeff Nichols and Ian Hilton.
