Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

2018 Zone 14 state singles continued this weekend 17 – 18th March. In the semi final Craig Donaldson def R. Dixon 31 – 27 and Callum Murray def J. Hrabak 31 – 16 to make it an all Port City final. In a classic game Callum  def Craig 31 – 27.

Men’s pairs 2018 championship – the draw will be on the board early this week. First round Saturday 24th March.

Dooker Eggert Shield Zone 14 V Zone 11 at Wauchope Country Club on Sunday 25th March. Port City players chosen to play are Bruce Anderson (senior) and Craig Donaldson – Phil Baker – Greg Keft – Callum Murray and Graeme Irons in the open side.

Easter mixed carnival March 31st – April 2nd. Entry forms are at the kiosk. Saturday ladies triples ($750 prize money, Sunday mixed triples ( $1000 prize money) and Monday men’s pairs, also $1000 in prize money.

2018 Mayor’s Sporting Fund Bowls Day at Port City Friday March 23rd. Team of 4 costs $120. There will be a free BBQ at noon with complimentary drink and bowls at 1pm.

Side managers for pennants – if you are interested please talk to Bob Crombie.

A pennant unavailability sheet is on the board. Please let the selectors know which dates you are not available.

Marine Rescue Port Macquarie are running a raffle, tickets cost $5 and the prize is a set of bowls, any size , colour or brand. Tickets are available at the bowls kiosk and will be drawn on the Marine rescue bowls day on 25 March. The day is also in association with Sailability NSW.

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Coppy’s Butcher Block
