President Barbara welcomed ladies from the following clubs that were playing Pennants today – Lake Cathie, Westport, Wauchope, Panthers

Results of Pennants – Grade 1 def Lake Cathie, Grade 2 lost to Lake Cathie, Grade 3 def Wauchope, Grade 4(1) def Westport, Grade 4(2) def Panthers.

Lucky rink Winners 1^st – Maureen Cutting, Mary Bennett, Joy Barry, Barbara Owens. 2^{nd -} Helen Cooper, Margaret White, Jenny Devitt, Consolation - Yvonne Howard and her team from Lake Cathie.

The following ladies celebrated birthdays this week. – Jenelle Francis, Val Byrnes and Helen Carr.

The first round of the Club Singles will be played on Thursday 20^th March.

Club Pairs opened last week and will close on 1^st April. The first round will be played on 15^th April.

There are still vacancies for our 4 day Easter Carnival from 18^th to 21^st April. Entries close 13^th April, unless filled sooner, so there is still time to get your entries in. There will be $4000 in prize money.

Raffle Winners – 1^st Judy Blackler (Lake Cathie), 2^nd – Jan Drewsen.

80’s club Winners – 1^st Marcia Glover (Westport),  2^nd- Eleanor Russell (Port City), 3^rd – Rhonda Evans – (Port City),  4^th – Barbara Barrett (Port City).

Veterans’ Day will be held at Westport Bowling Club on 7^th April this year.

For any of our ladies who are unable to play bowls, or are unwell at the moment we hope to see you back on the bowling green soon.
