Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 9th March.

Wednesday :- $15 :-R Bale, D Seaton & B Whitfield. $7 :- D Dickman, Tony Smith & K Hercus.

Thursday A.M. :- A big game of social “Australian International Pairs” between J Munson & J Dewson Versus P Light & D Olson, where the game went to & fro all day when after the second last end, Pat took the lead 18 – 17 then Jenifer won the last end with 1 shot making it a draw, what a fitting end to a great contest.

Thursday PM:- $15:- A Eames & G Light $7 :- R Hawkins & G Platt

The jackpot of $600 was on offer again and Jack Milnes & Rex Holihan were victorious in the task.

Friday P.M. :- $15 G McFarlane & J Rossiter. $7:- J Carn & P Gunn

Another failure to win the $600 jackpot was made by T Hill & J Keller. It’s on again next week with $600 but 8 numbers to choose from, good luck boys.

Saturday PM :- Our first day of pennants was washed out last week by a deluge and is rescheduled for Sunday 16th March. Good luck to all our teams next week.

The second round was not much better with only 2 grades winning but there is bigger & better things ahead. Go hard boys.
