Port City Men's BC Weekly News Report

Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 16th March.

Wednesday :- $15 :-B Sainsbury, A McAlpine & J Duczynski.  $7 :- K Edward & F Edward.

Thursday  PM:- $15:- R Humphrey & R Bowman.  $7 :-D Lomas& J Faddy
In spite of a valiant effort, Bryce Stewart failed in his attempt to guess the right number for the jackpot of $240. It is on again next Thursday and will be about $300 with only 18 numbers.

Friday P.M. :-  $15 B Tait & W Kempster.  $7:- M Hayes & K Slowey
Another failure to win the  $600 jackpot was made by R Hawkins & J Reilly. It’s on again next week with $600 but 6 numbers to choose from, good luck boys.

Saturday PM :- We did battle in the 3rd round of pennants with mixed results.

Sunday AM :- The washed out first game of pennants was played with pleasing results with 5 out of 6 grades winning and 1 bye. Congratulations to everyone and keep going.

Sunday PM :-  58 bowlers enjoyed the warm conditions with the prizes going to :- 1st :-J Milnes, Norma Schwartz & J Munson. 2nd :-  J Lucas, P Hall & R Lucas.  3rd :- L Lennox, E Moss & I Lennox.
Lucky Envelopes :- C Owen, B Hodgson, M Dunn, B Crutcher & J Scholz
Raffle :-  R Earl, P Hall & M Green. The jackpot will be $210 next time.

For all the up and coming bowlers, there is free coaching available to everyone (12 year olds welcome). Just turn up to the bowls office Saturday mornings at 10:00 am .

Coaching:- The pennant players are reminded the Bryce Stewart coaching is still on Tuesdays so please  attend if possible as per last Year.
