President Shirley welcomed the Grade 1 Pennant team
from North Haven on Tuesday 3rd April and a special welcome was also given to
Val Bott who had been absent for some time. It was a very exciting match to
watch and Port City and North Haven played some great bowls. Overall the match
went to Port City and in the final games of all pennants the Grade 1 Grade 4
and Grade 5 are all in with a chance of winning a flag.

The Major pairs championship will close next
Tuesday 10th April with play commencing on Tuesday April 24th.
State fours and Senior fours will be played on
Tuesday 17th April. Please check the list on the board to see which Club you
have drawn for play.
We are all looking forward to the Easter Carnival
on Saturday 7th as it will be a different format - 3 bowl pairs and there
should be some great games for anyone who wishes to come along and watch.
Tuesday the annual Handicap Triples will be played.
Just a reminder that there is no entry fee but green fees still apply ($5).
Bring your own lunch and cards will be drawn at 9 am. Also the non playing
members morning tea will be held and social bowls is available on that day.

Neville Schwartz has given the magic hands touch to
our orbital measure and it is now in perfect working order. Thank you from all
of us.
