Wednesday pm: $10 B. Leaver, C. Halls & T. Cornforth. $7 J. Stone, B. Wallace and D. McAuliffe.
Thursday am: No results.
Thursday pm: $10 E. Durrant & P. Brady. $7 P. Harper and G. Russell. The jackpot of $530 was not won by P. Harper & G. Russell. Next week jackpot approx. $600.
Friday: no bowls on Good Friday. Next week jackpot $300 plus.
Saturday am: Ladies 3 bowl pairs tournament sponsored by David Plews from Port Macquarie First National Real Estate was won by the Port City pair of C. White and L. Thompson. Second went to I. Orr and J. Allen from North Haven with third to R. Edwards and E. Eames from Port City. This was a great day with 3 greens filled.
Sunday am: One round of the Major Triples was played with K. Ashdown, J. Wheland & G. Worley defeating last year's winners R. Bradbury, B. Counsell & J. Cranna which went down to the last end.
Sunday pm: Mixed triples saw 68 players take to the greens chasing the Easter bunny prizes plus a $210 jackpot up for grabs. The day's winners were: $210 jackpot winners J. Burge, B. Burge & M. Wallis. $10 Thommo, Z, Akmens. $7 J. Russell, G. Hollis. $5 F.& J. Fairbrother. Lucky winners E. Durrant, P. Brady, A. Connell, F. Williams & I. Lennox. Raffle I. Code, C. Banks & N. Schwartz.
"Go Bombers". On Anzac Day 25th April we have ladies, mens and mixed bowls starting at 1:00 pm. Please place names on sheet provided on the notice board.
The Port City Open Singles will be played from April 30th through to 3rd May 2012.This most prestigious event on Port City's bowls calendar has been filled for quite a while with 96 players contesting. Qualifying will be held on Monday and Tuesday with 48 playing each day. Eight previous winners will be trying to win the title again. Markers, both men and ladies, are required with 24 required on both Monday and Tuesday so please put your name down on the sheet.
