Congratulations to our new President Barbara Barrett who was elected by the committee last week. Barbara commended Kim Stewart for doing a wonderful job whilst the nominations were being considered.
Thank you to our 41 players for turning up. It was a little windy, but all in all it was a lovely spring day.
Well Done to Shirley Devine and Eleanore Russell, who were the Winners of the Lake Cathie Spring Pairs Carnival held on September 10.
Information and nomination sheets referring to next year’s Pennants are now up on the notice board. Please put your names on the list.
There are a few events coming up. Consistency Singles is now open and the list is on the board. North Haven Gala day is coming up on 10 October. Also the Kew under 8 years fours tournament on the 7 October which will be a wonderful way for our new girls to get out there and have a bit of fun.
Port City will be hosting the Blind Bowlers Championship starting October 11 and going through to the 13th. Phil is looking for markers so if you’re interested call the bowls office.
The George and Matilda Pairs event is coming up this weekend. Contact the bowls office if you are interested.
