In the minor singles Warren Bates def Jeff Nichols, Ted Wilson def Frank Raczka, Ian Hodgkinson def Ted Wilson and John Gemmell def Wayne Thrussell.
Wednesday social and heading to the bank with their winnings was John Ockers, Chicka Thompson and Peter Griffith, the runner up loot went to George Wise, Ian Poole and Reggie Robb. Voucher winners were Frosty, Phil Collins, Gary Hamilton and John Smith.

The Classic Fours will be played on Saturday and Sunday the 21st and 22nd of September $4,000 in prizemoney entry fee is $200 per team that includes morning tea and lunch both days 9am start both days.
