Newcomer to the club Steve Anderson is the new minor singles champ after def Ian Hodgkinson 31/30 in the final by all accounts it was a great game and congratulations go to both players on a fine display of bowls and sportsmanship.

Two games in the major minor pairs on Wednesday Ian Hodgkinson and Reggie Robb def Ian Hilton and Barrie Isaac, and Chicka Thompson and Mark Hammond def Pat O’Connor and Peter Laing. Friday Rob Edwards and Mick Stuttard def Steve Hall and Wayne Thrussell. Sunday morning Ray Pantlin and Brian Charters def Darren Darcy and Paul Cini.

Wednesday social and taking home the loot was John Hilton, Howard Burrows and Bill Bailey, in the runner up spot was Alf Salter, Warren Bates and Wayne Thrussell. Vouchers went to Terry Miles, Rocky Davis, Leslie Faulstone and Terry Stringer.

Saturday cashpot triples and taking home the dosh Mal Isaac Noelene Holt and Rob Edwards, 2nd Stewart Rogan, E Bailey and Bill Bailey and 3rd Warren Barnes, Dick I never win anything Davies and Kim Thompson. Vouchers went to Mark Hammond, Ingo Model, Sparra Cheers and John Gemmell.

Monday monthly pairs will be on the 7th of October it is an open event, men, women or mixed are most welcome 9am start club uniform required come and have a day on the greens at the friendly club.
