The Classic Fours have run and won for another year and winning the major money was the Graham Conan led team, 2nd M Carter’s team, 3rd Ray Boulter’s team, 4th Mark Hammond’s team and in 5th place Gary Douglass’s team, round winners Greg Brims team, round 2 Barrie Isaac’s team, round 3 Wayne Thrussell’s team and round 4 Mick Ashford’s team. Congratulations to all the winners we hope to see you all back next year. A big thank you to all the teams who entered and to those who travelled long distances a special thanks.

The major minor pairs are moving along nicely with 3 more games played on Wednesday Chicka Thompson and Mark Hammond def Ingo Model and Terry Miles, Terry Stringer and Bruce Fletcher def Sparra Cheers and Adrian Hilton and Mick White and Peter Griffith def Ian Poole and John Gemmell.

Wednesday Social and the cash went to George Wise, Warren Bates and Rod Sutton, the runner up loot went to John Ockers, Reggie Robb and Budgie Brecard. Voucher winners were Peter Griffith, Rob Edwards, Wayne Thrussell and Tony Austin.

Two teams shared the jackpot on Friday Gary Ruprecht, Dick I never win anything Davies and Terry Miles, shared with Steve Anderson, Rob Edwards and Terry Stringer. Vouchers went to Rocky Davis, Bill Bailey, Frosty and Keith Nichols.

Monday monthly pairs will be on the 7th of October it is an open event, men, women or mixed are most welcome 9am start club uniform required come and have a day on the greens at the friendly club.

Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
