Report Weekending 29th September 2019
Last Tuesday the 24th September 2019 saw us holding our Gala Day and we were lucky with the weather this time and a great day was had by all.
The Gala Day winning team was J Wellard from Kew, L Burtenshaw and H Millard from Lake Cathie and the runner up team was J Reynolds from Port City, J Vibert from Kempsey RSL and L Thompson from Lake Cathie.
The winning Lead was W Foreman from Lake Cathie, the winning Second was L Conroy from Port City and the winning Skip was Y Howard from Lake Cathie.
Social Bowls results for Saturday 21st September 2019 saw the lucky rink winners of W Byers and J Blackler and the runners up were H White and J Grimshaw.
Then on Saturday 28th September 2019 saw the lucky rink winners of E Blueming and E Mason and the runners up were A Constantine and M Dewson.
As we go to press the first rounds of the Major/Minor start so please keep an eye on the board for game days and times.
Melbourne Cup tickets are on sale over the bar so get your tables together and remember you must pay for tickets straight away there is no holding them.
