Port City Women's Bowling Club
Thank you to our 24 players who turned up to play in the very trying conditions today.
The Club Fours championship was won by Carol White, Sonny Willis Wendy Kennedy and Karen Mc Farlane, they defeated Debbie Amor, Kylie Hardy, Sue Wood and Jan Opitz. Results are C White 22 D Amor 17. Thanks to the umpire Margaret Tyree and to Fay Schollum.
Congratulations to Kylie Hardy and Phil Baker who made it to the Semi-Finals in Mixed Pairs at the State Championships last week.
Information and nomination sheets referring to next year’s Pennants are now up on the notice board.
Turnaround triples is on next week 17 September. Social bowls will be on as well.
Anyone who is interested in taking on the position of President can put their name on the sheet on the notice board.
Thursday morning pairs are on this week, 12 September. Please put your name in the folder, single entries are OK if we can get a team together.
