We start with sad news this week with the passing of one of our members Terry Murphy we send our sincere condolences to Leonie and family.

Three games in the minor pairs Wayne Thrussell def Pat O’Connor in a very classy game, Ted Wilson def Steve Hall and Warren Bates def Bob Sims.

Wednesday social and scooting to bank with the loot was John Brown, Chicka Thompson and Rod Sutton, in the runner up spot was Tony Brown, Denis Squires and Mark Hammond, Vouchers went to Terry Stringer, Ian Hilton, Dave Napper and Griffo the great.

Friday jackpot triples and the jackpot stays in the bank with $344 up for grabs on Friday the 30th of August. Rink winners were Warren Barnes, Chicka Thompson and Peter Laing, the runner up dosh went to Keith Nichols, Pat O’Connor and Ray Wicky Allan. Voucher winners were Peter Laing, Steve McGregor, Ingo Model and Terry Stringer.

Monday the 2nd of September the monthly pairs is on again open to all bowlers 9am start uniform dress all welcome.

The Classic Fours will be played on Saturday and Sunday the 21st and 22nd of September $4,000 in prizemoney entry fee is $200 per team that includes morning tea and lunch both days 9am start both days.

Wednesday social and Saturday cash pot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
