The AGM was held on Saturday and the President’s role is again in the capable hands of Barrie Isaac, VP Chicka Thompson, Secretary Dave Napper, Treasurer Tony Austin, Bowls organiser John Gemmell and some new faces on the committee Frank Raczka, John Jarvis, Steve Anderson, Peter Laing, Ian Poole and Gary Hamilton. Congratulations to all and may the work be shared.
In the hundred club 5 winners Tony Austin, Chicka Thompson, Brian Charters, Ray Allan and Brian Milton.
In the minor singles Ian Hodgkinson def Dave Jones, John Gemmell def Chicka Thompson.
Monday the 2nd of September the monthly pairs is on again open to all bowlers 9am start uniform dress all welcome.
Wednesday social and winning the afternoon was Adrian Hilton, John Jarvis and Peter Griffith, the runner up prize went to Gary Bewley, Daryle Barr and Rocky Davis. Voucher winners were Gary Hamilton, John Hilton, Stewart Wellard and Ray Pantlin.
The Classic Fours will be played on Saturday and Sunday the 21st and 22nd of September $4,000 in prizemoney entry fee is $200 per team that includes morning tea and lunch both days 9am start both days.
There is a list on the board for the major minor pairs closing date will be the 24th of August first game to be played on or before the 7th of September.
Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
