Paul Sloan (Port Panthers) has advised that Mechanical Bowling Arm (MBA) activities in Zone 14 have been split into northern and southern sections.
Click here for general information on the Zone 14 web site. Paul is coordinating activities in the southern section and has sent the following news release.
"Hibbard Sport Club - MBA 19th Aug.
Our initial southern meeting went over quite well, nearly 20 bowlers with 6 apologies. Due to the distance involved it was decided that to get the maximum number of bowlers involved, the MBA training days would be split into 2 sections, South West Rocks down to Kew would comprise the southern section.
We would have 3 training days then a competition between north and south with the selected team playing singles, doubles , triples and fours. This to be repeated, with a final composite team being selected to represent the zone against the NSW wommeras.
This is one of the aims but the primary objective is to encourage all bowlers to continue in the sport as long as possible, if they have problems then we should be able to assist them
in arm selection and training."
PS from Paul: "Forgot to mention that meeting, drills and games will be 2nd Monday of the month approx noon arrival with 12.30 start."
