Week ending Sunday 17th February 2019
Monday winners were Jim Carter, John White & Helene White while the runners up were Bev Ascot-Evans, Gary Ludford & Ray Craven.
Thursday winners: Ron Spinks, John Cree, Bradley Yates & Glen Coey while the runners up were Warren Jamison, Doug Porter, Paul Dewson & Gary Knox. The lucky losers were Nev Philp, Ralph Crawford, John Kennett & Steve Philp.
The Semi-Finals for the Fours Championship played this Sunday saw the team of Nev Philp, Ross Tinmouth, Brett Meyer & Steve Philp defeat Ray Crawford, (Sub Brian Pearce) Gary Jackson, John Kennett & Stephen Smith 23/17. On the other side of the draw, the team of Warren Jamison, Doug Porter, Glen Tiley (Sub Doug Rose) & Gary Knox defeated Charles Duthie, Denis Begley, Ron Allen & Geoff Worley 23/15.
This coming Saturday will be a pennant trial against visiting East Maitland Bowlers so check that your name is ticked off on the selection sheet. The list is also up for the Major Singles so get your entries in.
