From President Barrie the committee and all bowlers send their sincere condolences to Dick Davies and family following the passing of Jan whose funeral will be held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church at 10am on Wednesday the 27th February.

North Haven proved too good in the President’s challenge winning 3 of the 4 grades well done North Haven we will see you next year at your place.

Friday’s jackpot is still in the hands of the treasurer and is now worth $448 on Friday the 1st of March. Rink winners were Frank Raczka, Ian Poole and Peter Laing, the runner up cash wet to Reggie Robb, Trevor Robb and Dean Gemmell. Voucher winners were Denis Chiddy, Bill O’Donnell and Chicka Thompson.

Wednesday social and scooting to bank with their winnings were Jim Race, Steve Hall and Peter “Flipper” Griffith, the runner dosh went to Bob Kay, Chicka Thompson and Mick the bicky eater Ashford. Voucher winners were Ray Elliott, Barrie Isaac, Bob the hand breaker Kennett and John Gemmell.

The pairs draw is on the board please check to see when you are required to play.

Wednesday social will start at 1pm this week only mufti dress all welcome.

Saturday will be a get together for all pennant players who have been allocated at start in a team starting at 12 noon with a short talk to the bowlers by Terry Miles please tick your name off if you are able to play or let one of the selectors know if you are unavailable.

The boys enjoyed their trip to Comboyne on Sunday morning although they did not win they had a great time with the boys on the hill.
