Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

Bowls  Facebook page has been updated. We now have bowls streamed “live” from Port City. Listen to Phil “the Ray Warren of bowls” Baker call the shots

 A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

This is your last chance to enter the 2018 mixed triples. Phil has extended entries for a further week.

The last instalment of George & Matilda open pairs is on this Thursday 29th November. According to Phil this has been a huge success with full fields every week.

An early note for the Christmas Ham Raffles. Wednesday 5th December (60), 12th December (80) and 19th December (100). Tickets will be available prior to the draws if you cannot make it- see one of the committee.

Pennants 2019, doesn’t it come round quickly !!! Nomination forms are at the bowls counter. Please complete this to assist the selectors. I believe lots more names are required.

Presentation Day will be held on Saturday 15th December. Bowls at 1pm. Nibbles and presentations from 3pm.

Last day of social bowls for 2018 will be Friday 21st December, starting up again Wednesday 2nd January 2019.

Travelling bowler news – There is an interclub day at Port City on Sunday 2hd December with bowls at 9.30 followed by lunch.
Christmas party is on Sunday 23rd December, breakfast at 8.15. This is a free day.

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Coppy’s butchers Block.
