Saturday and Sunday the Classic triples was held the weather gods were good to us which made for some excellent bowls the winners from Kempsey Heights were Terry Burley, Brad Scott and Joel Bourke, 2nd the Chris Balaam led team from North Haven, 3rd Mitch Williams and his merry men from Comboyne, Rob Dykes and team and Jason Aurisch and team from Tuncurry. Thanks must go to the ladies Margret. Lynda, Joan, Ida and Wendy who serve the lunch’s and make the best morning tea on the coast to the two lovely ladies Kimmy and Doreen for doing the scores to the ladies in the kitchen who gave us great meals and Wendell and Co in the bar who kept us hydrated and last but not least the players who keep coming to our tournament thank you one and all.
Wednesday afternoon the final of the major minor pairs was played in wet and windy conditions Ron Hale and Dean Gemmell went up against Warren Barnes and Peter Griffith, Ron and Dean proved too good for Warren and Pete to pick up the major minor championship.
There is a sheet on the board for the Christmas party, please get your names on the list ASAP to help with catering, the do will kick off at 4pm on the 8th of December with plenty of entertainment provided by Chicka and Co the bus will run but you have to get your names on the list early.
Don’t forget to nominate your team for Monday monthly pairs on the 3rd of December it is an open event Men, Women or mixed so grab a partner and enjoy a day at the friendly club.
Wednesday social and out the door with the loot were Warren Bates, John Gemmell and the hand crusher Bob Kennett, the runner up prize went to John Ockers, Rod Sutton and Charles Doyle. Voucher winners were Tony Austin, Ian Paris Hilton, Warren Bates and John Hilton.
Wednesday social starts at 9.30 am names in by 6pmTuesday and Friday jackpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start.
