Kew Men’s Bowls News.

Bowlers please take note that the start time for Wednesday social bowls will be 9.30 am names in by 6pm on Tuesday this will give John time to do the cards and chase a player or two if needed.

Saturday cash pot triples was rained out we did not get enough ends in to make it game. Vouchers went to Paris Hilton, Peter Griffith, Warren Barnes and Dean Gemmell.

Wednesday social and picking up the rink win plus a place in the final of the major minor pairs was the very strong combination of Ron Hale and Dean Gemmell who def Pat O’Connor and Ian McLaren, Ron and Dean will take on Warren Barnes and Peter Griffith in the final, the runner up cash went to Ray Elliott, Adrian Hilton and Rob Edwards. Voucher winners were Terry Stringer, Dean Gemmell, Steve McGregor, Rob Edwards and Adrian Hilton.

The Classic triples are on the 24th and 25th of November if you would like to enter a team it would go on the reserve list as we have 28 teams nominated,

Monday monthly pairs was again a great success with visiting teams sharing in the spoils and taking home the winners prize was Chris and Gary Knox, 2nd Ian Paris Hilton and the biscuit eater Mick Ashford, 3rd Phil Baker and Mike Rand, 4th Peter Griffith and Mark Hammond the Jackpot of $200 went to Ken Taylor and Max Morris and the two teams who got their entry fee back were Chicka Thompson and Gary Ruprecht, Howard Burrows and Charles Doyle. Thanks to all who took part see you at the next Monday monthly pairs on the 3rd of December.

Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 6pm Tuesday for Wednesday and Friday names by 11.30 12,30 start mufti dress all welcome.
