Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

Bowls  Facebook page has been updated. We now have bowls streamed “live” from Port City. Listen to Phil “the Ray Warren of bowls” Baker call the shots

 A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

Club challenge 2018 draw is on bowls NSW web site.
Men’s Gold at Raymond  Terrace 17/11/2018 Port City are in the section to play Raymond Terrace-East Maitland,Yellow and Charlestown black.

Men’s Silver at Inverell Port City to play Inverell, North Tamworth and CEX Wollgoolga.

Mixed Gold – Section 1 PC bye (qualify).
The state finals will be held at Warrilla BC 8-9th December.

Congratulations to Kylie Hardy/Phil Baker who won the 2018 mixed pairs defeating Wendy Kennedy/Rod Chetwynd in the final. This is the third straight victory for Kylie & Phil

Entries are open for the 2018 men’s 60 and over pairs (replaces the over 70’s) and close 13th November. First round Saturday 17th November at 1pm.

2018 open mixed triples, entries are now being taken, first round 24th November.

BPL08 starts this week at Club Pine Rivers in Qld, Tuesday to Friday.  We wish our representatives Greg Keft-Jai Whelan and Cody Griffin good bowling. The evening sessions will be shown live on Fox Sports from 6pm.

An early note for the Christmas Ham Raffles. Wednesday 5th December (60), 12th December (80) and 19th December (100)

Pennants 2019, doesn’t it come round quickly !!! Nomination forms are at the bowls counter. Please complete this to assist the selectors. I believe lots more names are required

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Coppy’s butchers Block.
