Bowlers please take note of a change to start time for social Wednesday bowls a show of hands on Wednesday wholeheartedly endorsed starting at 9.30 am from Wednesday the 14th of November note this week will be 12.30 pm start. The 9.30 start time is to give bowls Organiser John time to do the cards and maybe chase a player or two if needed.
Friday’s jackpot is still in the bank under the watchful eye of Treasurer Tony the next jackpot on Friday the 16th of November will be worth $270. Rink winners were Gary Ruprecht, Rob Edwards and Terry Stringer, the runner up prize went to George Wise, Ian Hilton and Rod Sutton, Voucher winners were Budgie Brecard, Kevin Wholohan, Mick Ashford and Terry Stringer.
A little bit of gossip the Pink Panther tells me he has put the pink bowls in the cupboard never to surface again we will wait and see if he speaks with forked tongue or not.
Wednesday social and it did not take him long to get back in the winner’s circle after having a new knee installed Jeff Nichols good to see you back mate, Darren Darcy and Reggie Robb picked up the dosh for winning, Ray Elliott, Leslie Faulstone and Peter Laing went home with the runner prize. Voucher winners were Bob Sims, Ian Hodgkinson, Warren Bates and the man you can’t stop winning now that he is retired Darren Darcy.
The Classic triples are on the 24th and 25th of November if you would like to enter a team it would go on the reserve list as we have 28 teams nominated,
