Lake Cathie Women’s Bowling Club Report Weekending 17th September 2017
Social bowls for the 12th September saw L Moore, A Constantine and S Malzard as our lucky rink winners and the runners up were M Kelly, F Croombe, B Barker and N Castles.
Results for the Major/Minor Pairs Championship saw A Pritchard and H Durrant defeat D Teffel and D Fischer.
The Spring Carnival was a big success again this year thanks to all the people that attend our club and we hope to see you all again. Also the ladies that played from our own club as well.
To all the women behind the scenes that work hard to make the day run well. Thankyou to the men’s club who helped with the umpiring again so the women could play. The team of providores who did another fantastic room.
Results for the Spring Carnival – 1st Prize went to the team from Westport of C Purnell and D Penney. 2nd Prize saw the team from Port City of S Devine and E Russell. 3rd Prize saw the team from Tuncurry/Forster of J Kilpatrick and R Brown. Winners of game one were M Coombes, B Oliver from Westport and the game two winners were the team from Port Panthers of B Millican and E Long.
