Lake Cathie Men’s Bowling Club Week ending Sunday 24th September 2017
Monday’s BBQ Mixed Triples Social Bowls winners were John White (jr), Helene White and Ken Pritchard. The lucky losers were Vic Ley, Esther Bailey and Bill Bailey.
Thursday Winners were Mike Williams, John Parker and Robert Dickson. The runners-up were Bill Bailey, George Ganic and John Jarvis. The lucky losers were John Cree, Dallas Tarrant and Bill Metcalfe.
Saturday Winners were Peter Slattery and Ken Taylor. The lucky losers were Geoff Delamotty and Roger Miles.
In the final of H/C Pairs David Pateman and Peter Slattery defeated Steve Smith and Gary Jackson 24 to 16 after a 4hr 35 min slugfest.
Results for the Chairman’s Two Bowls Triples were as follows: Winners; Ken and Alma Pritchard and Jenny Roberts. 2nd Place: Frank Ryan, Anne Wilson and Barry Northey. 3rd Place: Phil Smith, Phil Innes and Susan Malzard.
