Tuesday 18th July 2017  HAPPENINGS

Big congratulations for Robin Kean who has been elected the new District President, she is looking forward to her new role.

The club is looking for new sponsors so there is a call out for members to ask any business when out and about if they could donate a voucher.

There have been some questions about the new jackpot prize, The jackpot should be shared by all players on the rink.

Judy Brady club Vice President has brought the clubs proposal to change the constitution to our attention. The constitution forum will be held on the 26th of July,7pm. Judy suggests that we should attend, so we can make an informed decision.

Keep an eye on the notice board for more information in regards to a Lawn bowls rules workshop. 

Results for Club 4s:

Club 4’s semi-final was played Tue 18th July it was a close game won by Margaret Tyree, Robin Kean, Eveline Ramsay Norma Schwartz (19) defeated Margaret Walsh, Robyn Hehir, Rosemary Roach and Eleanore Russell (13) The final will be played next Thursday.

Happy Birthday: Evelyne Ramsay, Daphne Sumsky, Elaine Eames, Joan Bird and Frances Green. Many happy returns to all who are celebrating a birthday this week.

Gwen Hollis is currently in hospital with pneumonia. To anyone else not in the best of health at this time we send our best wishes and hope that you are well soon.

Sunday PM –   Mixed Triples. 12.45 for 1pm start (names in by 10.00am)
