PORT CITY WOMEN’S BOWLING CLUB
Tuesday 4th July 2017 HAPPENINGS
Debbie welcomed 22 social and 56 championship bowlers to our
postponed 63rd Birthday celebrations. A
special welcome back to Adrianna Cutler and visitors from Tassie, Qld and Zelda
Gaymans from Victoria.
Port City Life
Members, Frances Green, Norma Schwartz, Shirley Devine and Robyn Biddle cut the
Birthday cake and it was shared amongst the members. Thank you to Jill Knight for decorating the
tables.
This Thursday, 6th
July, the Regional Senior Fours will be
played at North Haven at 1.00pm. Port
City will play Tuncurry. The team
consists of Eleanore Russell, Robin Hehir, Rosemary Roach and Margaret
Walsh. We wish the girls all the best.
There will be no
social bowls on Thursday, 13th July.
Members voted for
the Hastings Haven District. The results
will be forwarded to the District AGM to
be held on 14th July.

Many happy returns to Kylee Hardy and Jeanice Schiemer and to all who are celebrating a birthday this week.
Mary Bennett, Welfare Officer, said how nice it was to see Robyn Biddle back. She advised that Ann Connell is not very well, Maureen Cutting is waiting to see the Knee Surgeon and that Debbie is going back into hospital in a couple of weeks.
