Major Pairs Champions Graeme Bateman & Glenn Tiley
LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 23RD JULY, 2017
Glenn Tiley and Graeme
Bateman are our 2017 Major Pairs champions after defeating Gary Knox and John
Atkins in the final on Friday. Well done both teams for reaching the final and
congratulations to Glenn and Graeme.
The Triples
Championship games are underway and the teams skipped by Steve Smith, Des
Hancox, Bob Ruming and Geoff Worley are through to the next round.
On Monday Mike Ryan,
Don Shelsher and Peter Harris won the winning rink prize and Barry Lawson,
Lindy Lawson and Paddy Matthews were the lucky losers.
On Thursday, the prize
went to Brendan Maher, Harry Weegen and Andy Lloyd while the runners up prize
went to Dean Jackson and Steve Smith. Lucky losers were Roger Miles, Geoff
Delanotte and Ossie Bowd.
The real winners on
Thursday, regardless of who won the game of bowls were the two teams who shared
the $1,000 jackpot and on Saturday the teams who shared the $230 jackpot.
