Lake
Cathie Women’s Bowling Club Weekending
11th June 2017.
We started the week off on Monday 5th June 2017 with a fantastic winter carnival with great games played, 30 odd raffles prizes, a great effort on the trade table and the social girls did a great job on the room as usual.
Also, a
special thanks to the men’s club for your help with umpiring on
the day which allows our ladies a chance to play.
Thankyou
also to our friends from other clubs that support us and the Lake Cathie ladies
with your help, cooking, donations and just being there makes all the hard work
the committees do worthwhile so a big thankyou.
The results
for the winter carnival are - Game one winners of G Millican, F King and E
Long. Game two winners were B Standen, E Layton and S Willis.
Over all
winners - 1st Place went to A Pobje, S Wood and R Austin.
2nd Place went to D Amor, B Barrett, and J Brady and our
3rd place winner from Lake Cathie of P Obrien, L Watson, and L
Gentles.
Congratulation to all our visitors on
placing well in our carnival and hope to see you all back for our spring
carnival.
Tuesday the
6th June 2017 saw our social rink winners of S Malzard and V Hamilton
and the runners up on the day of I Ganic, P Gibbons, R Biggs, and J
Carney.
Pairs
Championship results for the 6th June 2017 saw C Knox and J Roberts
defeat P Begley and D Fischer. J Blackler and W Bryers defeated D Dow and S
Stokmanis, S Malzard and V Hamilton defeated M Simmonds and R Jones, A Pritchard
and R McCabe defeated O Hulland and J Howard, D Spinks, and H Durrant defeated A
Wilson and Y Howard.
Also,
congrats to the ladies who played at the district this year on a job well done.
Sorry I didn’t get all the results for your games
but thanks for representing us at district.
