Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks.

 A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

 New Port City bowls cloths have arrived. They cost $5 each. See Phil to purchase one.

 In the NSW State Zone 14 Fours Southern Section, congratulations to the team of Paul Jacobsen – Greg Keft – Phil Baker and skip Bruce Anderson, who defeated Mattew Kirkman’s team (Westport) 21 – 16 in the final. They now play the winners of the Northern Section( Park Beach) for the zone 14 championship.

In the club triples the semi finals are between Mike Rand V Greg Brims and Phil Jacobsen V Nathan Horton.

 Minor singles we have one semi final between Steve Matheson V Chris Thornton. Rain disrupted play on the week end and the other quarter finals are between Kev Henwood V Paul Webster and Phil Jacobsen V Nathan Horton.

 The NSW State Triples Southern Section First round at Kempsey Heights on 5/3/17 at 9am.
The Port City teams are:

J. Hrabak – P. Baker – B. Anderson.
G. Keft – G. Brims – D. Barrett.
B. Stewart – C. Murray – J. Lewis

The zone 14 Dooker- Eggert trials are at Kempsey Heights on 12th March at 8.30 am

The Port City players selected in the Open section are J. Hrabak, G. Keft, P. Baker, G. Grims, P. Jacobsen and J. Lewis.

In the over 60’s section we have I. Binder, B. Anderson, K. Paulsen, D. Ramsay and B. Stewart.

The first round of the pennnants is on Saturday 4th March, teams are on the board so please tick your names to confirm your availability.

The Easter carnival this year starts on Easter Saturday 15th April with ladies triples, Sunday is mixed triple and Monday is men’s Pairs.

There will be a handicap triples May 9th to 11th

The PCMBC bowls calendar for February and March is on the board. The full 2017 calendar is on our bowls web site under “Calendar 17”

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm. Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Wiggly Tail Butchery.

Saturday afternoon bowls is on again starting at 12.30 pm with a jackpot.
