Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks.

A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

A Reminder also that Tuesday is ladies day, please guys no rolling up until after 2pm.

New Port City bowls cloths have arrived. They cost $5 each. See Phil to purchase one.

The NSW State Zone 14 Fours Southern Section will be played at Port City, the first round on Saturday 18/2/17 at 1pm.

The Port City sides are:

The second round games on Sunday 10/2/17 at 9am.

The NSW State Triples Southern Section First round at Kempsey Heights on 5/3/17 at 9am.

The Port City teams are:

J. Hrabak – P. Baker – B. Anderson.
G. Keft – G. Brims – D. Barrett.
B. Stewart – C. Murray – J. Lewis

The zone 14 Dooker- Eggert trials are at Kempsey Heights on 12th March at 8.30 am

The Port City players selected in the Open section are J. Hrabak, G. Keft, P. Baker, G. Grims, P. Jacobsen and J. Lewis.

In the over 60’s section we have I. Binder, B. Anderson, K. Paulsen, D. Ramsay and B. Stewart.

In the club championship triples most games were called off due to the excessive heat. I will have more info next week.

The PCMBC bowls calendar for February and March is on the board. The full 2017 calendar is on our bowls web site under “Calendar 17”

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Wiggly Tail Butchery.

Ron Davies left the $480 jackpot in the bank.

Thursday: Winners ($15) B. Richardson – J. Reilly. Runners Up ($10) M. Brennan – J. Hrabak. Consolation ($7) E Dasczyk – K. Lipscombe.

A.J won the jackpot last week but could not repeat the performance this week.

Friday: Winners: ($15) J. Keller – B. Apps – T. Hill. Runners Up ($10) P. Flanagan – R. Hawkins . Consolation ($7) B. Kemp – S. Kemp ( Bob’s son) – J. Newling.

Saturday afternoon bowls is on again starting at 12.30 pm with a jackpot.

Sunday: The excessive heat caused bowls to be called off.
