Minor Pairs Finalists

Lake Cathie Ladies Bowling Club Weekly Report - Sunday 19th February
The Minor Pairs Championship finished this week with the semi-finals being played on Tuesday, in which, Lynne Moore & Pat Kelly def M Duhigg & G Webster and Barbara Roberson & Maree Kitcher def A Todd & M Simmonds.  In the Final Lynne and Pat led at the start but Barbara and Maree caught up and maintained a comfortable lead till the end and so, congratulations to our 2017 Minor Pairs Champions  – Barbara Roberson and Maree Kitcher.  The Runners Up – Lynne Moore and Pat Kelly should be very proud of their achievement as they are both new bowlers. 

Tuesday’s winning rink was Lynne Moore and Pat Kelly and the runners up were Jill Howard, Robyn Anstee, Christine Bouffler and Vera Hamilton.  Saturday’s winning rink was Anne Wilson, Dorothy Dow, Jenny Roberts and Chris Knox and Runners Up Jackie Cairney, Pat Kelly, Jill Howard and Vera Hamilton.  So, it has a very good week for Jill, Vera and Pat.

Next Tuesday 28 February our first Quarterly Meeting of the year is at 1 pm. 
Tuesday 7 March is going to be a very busy day as, Pennant Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 are all playing at home and it is also Trade Table and Golden Girls and so there will be a yummy Morning Tea and some excellent bowls for the Golden Girls to enjoy.

On Tuesday 14 March at 1 pm there is a special General Meeting re changes to the Club Constitution and By Laws.  Please attend as a quorum of 33% of members is required to approve these changes.

Monday 3 April is Vets Day at Westport, 9.30 am morning tea.  There is a list up on the Notice Board for those eligible to attend.
