pmcwbc 60th birthday

What a great day we had for
our birthday celebration, thanks to our hard working Committee and all the helpers.

Distinguished guests were State President Robyn Procter, District President Diana Upcroft, Regional Representative Carole Graham, Club President, Barbara Barrett, Men’s President Paul Brady, Club CEO Russell Stockham, Operations Manager Glen Stewart, Bowls Organizer Charlie Buchanan, VP Carol Bowman, VP Margaret Edwards, Secretary Judy Brady and Ladies’ Treasurer Anne Connell.

A beautiful diamond pendant was raffled and a delighted Marilyn Heslehurst from Lake Cathie was the lucky winner.

A very special thanks to Norma Schwartz for all the beautiful decorations and we believe she had a lot of help from hubby Neville. Incidentally Norma and Neville celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary earlier in June. What a team. Thanks also to Robyn Biddle for wrapping the gifts and Hazel Durrant for the flower arrangements. Margaret Edwards made all the attractive serviette rings and the kitchen helpers did a fantastic job and a big thanks to them. The very artistic cake was created by our own Beth Schubert.

Port Macquarie Mixed Pairs Tournament was held 27th to 29th June. Congratulations to our own Morgan Solman-Stewart and Bryce Stewart on finishing in second place overall .
