Out of Hat Triples Winners - 2014

On Tuesday 1st July we held our Out of Hat
Triples with 18 teams competing, playing two games each of 15 ends. It’s a very
levelling game with ladies of all different grades playing together.
Although
it was very cold and windy – it was dry and sunny. The overall winners were
Robyn Biddle, Robyn Hehir and Eleanore Russell.
Runners-up: - Judy Brady, Denise Gudgeon and Helen Carr.
Third place: - Hazel Durrant, Ella Wright and Pat McNeill
Fourth place: - Beth Schubert, Jan Gauld and Helen Cooper
AM Winners: - Betty Hodgson, Joan Bird and Wendy Elliott
PM Winners: - Shirley Devine, Joy Barry and Carol Banks
Raffle Winners: - Joy Barry and Margaret Doyle
$50 Club Winners: - Carol Bowman, Robyn Hehir and Jan Opitz.
The first round of the Club Triples will be played next
Tuesday 8th July please check the board to see if you are playing on
that day.
Entry to Major/Minor Pairs is open and will close on 15th
July with play commencing on 29th July.
Next Tuesday 8th July is our non playing bowler’s
morning tea and we always look forward to seeing as many of you as we can.
The District AGM will be held at The Westport Club on Friday
the 11th July.
Our AGM will be held on Monday 21 July at 9.00am in the
functions room (upstairs) there will be some voting, so please make every
effort to attend and vote for your committees.
To any of our members or their families who are not feeling the
best, we wish them a speedy recovery.
