 Port City Men's Bowling Club news letter for the week ending Sunday 25th August.

Wednesday pm :-$15:- B Stokes, J Burge & M Wallis.  $10:- J Jackson, E Leonard & K Ison. $7:- P Gilligan & W Pallot.

Thursday am. :-  $10:- C White & E Ramsay.  $7:- J Brady & B Barrett

Thursday pm :- $15:- AJ Uptin  & C Thornton.  $10:- D Ramsay & E Dasczyk. Ed Dasczyk went for the $596 jackpot but chose the wrong number. Jackpot rolls on next week and will be  $600, good luck bowlers.

Friday pm :  $15:- J Breen & B Langham.  $10:-  G Brims & T Smith.  $7:- N Stingel & B Briggs.

The Jackpot of $600 was not won by R Redhead & R Osborn, bad luck boys. Next week the jackpot is  $600 and only 7 numbers .

Saturday pm.:- $10:- G Keft & I Binder  $7:- J Reilly & P Gilligan. The jackpot was won last Saturday so it goes back to 100 to start but was not won so it rolls on next Saturday.

Sunday am.:- $15:- G Lawer & D Amor  $10 :- W Bales, W Alaban & T Baird. $7:- F Green & D Wilson.

The jackpot of $120 did not go off. The next jackpot will be $150.

CITY versus COUNTRY TEST SERIES

Port City welcomed the State City versus Country  womens series. It was good to see the ladies enjoy the Port Macquarie weather and some quality bowls. The City team won the first test by 3 shots with the Country ladies returning the favour and winning by 7 shots in the second . The third test went to Country by 16 shots. Country won the series 2 tests to 1 with 310 shots to 290
